On 22 February 2010, the Minister for Finance Tharman Shanmugaratnam delivered Singapore’s Budget Statement for Fiscal Year 2010, which included specific measures to address the ESC recommendations. Budget 2010 focused on amongst others, raising productivity through skills, innovation and economic restructuring, and growing globally competitive companies. New initiatives will be implemented to support companies in Singapore to enhance skills and innovation activities, grow competitiveness and develop future-ready solutions.
