SAESL expansion reinforces Singapore's position as region's MRO hub

Singapore Aero Engines Services Pte Ltd (SAESL) continues to expand in Singapore with a new S$60 million facility extension. The investment demonstrates SAESL’s confidence in Singapore as a global aerospace hub.

The 12,000 sqm extension will enable SAESL to take on the maintenance, repair and overhaul of additional Rolls-Royce Trent engine types, such as the Trent XWB. The expansion of its existing facility will increase SAESL’s workforce from 800 to 900. The new jobs will include technicians, planners, quality assistants and engineers.

SAESL is the only facility in the world to repair and overhaul all in-service variants of the Rolls-Royce Trent engines, including the Trent 900 engine that powers the Airbus 380.
