Knust-SBO, a Houston, Texas-based subsidiary of Schoeller-Bleckmann Oilfield Equipment AG in Ternitz, Austria,  announced the official opening of its manufacturing facility in Singapore.   A leading edge, 5-axis precision machining company, Knust-SBO produces equipment servicing the oil and gas, geophysical/seismic and semiconductor industries.  Located at Tuas Loop, the Singapore facility will produce the same complex Knust-SBO products for its customers in Asia.  Knust-SBO, formed over 50 years ago, distinguishes itself from other machining companies through adherence to high quality, precision and reliability of its large number of complex products.

Mr Steve McGowen, President of Knust-SBO, said: "In recent years, we noticed an increasing trend of our customers moving their activities to the Far East particularly to Singapore.  The opening of our Singapore facility is to be close to our customers and service them.  It is in line with our expansion plan for the Far East".
