The WorldWide Fund for Nature (WWF) is one of the world's largest eco-conservation not-for-profit organisations. In March 2006, it opened its Asia-Pacific office in Singapore. Its office with ten staff members, oversees and develops all of WWF’s conservation projects in this region, including events and programmes organisation as well as educational and outreach initiatives. It also conducts training workshops for corporate partners in the region (e.g. HSBC). WWF’s presence here and its activities in the region are expected to continue to grow over the next few years.

International Baccalaureate in Singapore
The International Baccalaureate (IB) offers high quality programmes of international education to a worldwide community of schools. Its three programmes for students aged 3 to 19 help develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world. There are more than 600,000 IB students in over 2,400 schools in 129 countries.
The Singapore Regional Office works with schools and teachers, and Universities and Governments throughout South Asia, East Asia, South East Asia and Australasia. The role of the Regional Office is to support and evaluate prospective and authorized schools, develop and organize teacher training workshops, and promote understanding of and recognition of the three IB programmes.
Radical Philanthropy
Founded by eminent Asian business leader, Dr Lien Ying Chow and headquartered in Singapore, The Lien Foundation aims to lead, innovate, empower and network for the benefit of society. The Foundation pioneers new ground in philanthropy by investing in innovative solutions, convening strategic partnerships and catalysing action on social and environmental challenges. Its key focus areas are education, eldercare and the environment, with special interests in palliative care, strengthening non-profits through info communications technology (ICT), water and sanitation. In addition to the centres under its auspices that pursue dedicated causes, for example the Lien Centre for Social Innovation and Lien Centre for Palliative Care; it has its own developmental NGO, Lien Aid and a fellowship programme Lien Ying Chow Legacy Fellowship that promotes the professional & personal advancement of emerging and established leaders from China and Singapore.
