What To Expect In An Interview

The interview is an opportunity for us to fully understand your talents to determine if you have what it takes to be a successful EDB officer. Therefore, it is important that you are well-prepared for the interview. Here are some pointers on the preparatory work that you should embark on beforehand so that your interviewers will be able to see your truest potential:

  • Visit the EDB website, get familiar with our literature and speak to people who work for EDB to learn more about us, particularly the division you are interviewing for.
  • Think about why EDB is the organisation for you and what valuable assets you could bring to us. To help the interviewer better understand your strengths, it will be helpful if you can provide detailed examples to demonstrate your abilities, e.g. past work experience, co-curricular activities, etc. You should also focus on your specific roles and contributions that you have made in the examples that you share.
  • The interview process is a great opportunity for you to obtain more information about EDB. You may want to prepare a few questions before the interview to better understand the nature of our work, our culture and our people.
