For Students and Graduates

If you are shortlisted, you will be invited to complete an online numerical ability and psychometric assessment. The numerical ability test is designed to measure your numerical reasoning skills in a business context, based around the tables and charts you typically find in financial reports. The psychometric test is designed to assess your competencies and help us understand your potential to be successful in EDB.

We will invite successful applicants to a face-to-face interview.

For Professionals

If you are shortlisted, you will be invited to a face-to-face interview.

Interview Process

If you have applied to EDB without a specific position in mind, your first interview with us will be designed to help us get to know you better. It will focus primarily on your strengths, skills and accomplishments. We will also make an assessment on your fit with our organisation. This will be an opportunity for you to ask questions about us so that you can make a more informed decision about joining our team.

After the first round, we will determine the best match for you among our hiring divisions, based on your skills, experiences, and preferences. You may then be invited back for second round interviews with up to two divisions. This, and any subsequent interviews, will focus on your suitability for a particular division. Our interviewers will continue to assess your fit with the organisation's culture as well as your interest in EDB and your passion to contribute to Singapore’s economic future.

If you have applied for a specific position within EDB, you will be interviewed directly by the hiring division. During the interview, you will be asked specific questions relevant to the position. You will also be assessed for organization and motivational fit with EDB. The final interview will be with a member of our Top Management.
